My New Website and Blog are up and running!

Hello friends,

As you can see, there is a lot of info on this site about my music, however I don’t hang out much at this address. Due to the morphing taking place in my ministry, (my first book is set to release in 2017), “shelleensings” no longer encompasses all that I am doing. To fix that, my new author site is up, including my new blog. This one for my music will remain, but my author site will cover more of my writing. When you sign an author contract, you pretty much have to start blogging. Actually, it’s usually blog first, get published second. To be honest, I really didn’t want to blog, because I wasn’t sure of what I would talk about…ye, me! Well the first post is up, and I have to say that it’s only taken me that long to fall in love with blogging!

When I recorded my album, Rough Tracks, I had just begun writing music. Of the forty songs I’d written, I had to choose ten for the album. The other 30 are pretty much lost is space. Since then, I’ve probably written over 100. (It’ll be even harder to narrow down a top ten the next time around.) I keep writing though because it’s my outlet, and I love to worship. They aren’t all radio worthy, but I enjoy them, and it’s sad to me that they get lost in space. To remedy this, I’ve decided to start posting them on my new site. Understand you will be getting the raw, unmastered version; No studio musicians or producers involved to shine them up and make me sound spiffy. My piano playing…well, I offer my apology in advance. However, these songs bless me, and I figure perhaps a few others out there as well. They will appear at the end of some/most of my posts. If you don’t want to miss them, you can subscribe so they come right to your email. And I promise I won’t wear out my welcome…my goal is to post about twice a month. Please leave me feedback as well. It encourages me to keep going if I know I’ve blessed or encouraged you in any way.

The new site is www.hiswordweaver.com, and stay tuned…my new book Fruit Fables is coming soon. It’s written for children, but the morals to the stories are clear, and I have a hunch will speak to the adult reader as well.

Blessings to you friends!
